Undertakes a qualitative descriptive inquiry to examine participants' perception of the value of the café to staff and residents. Interviews nine staff members using a core set of five questions. Analyses interview data using thematic analysis according to the stages outlined by Marshall and Rossman.

Measures the risk of disability by a self-performance scale. Highlights an inverse relationship between activities of daily living (ADL) and BMI.
