Distributes an online survey to Plunket nurses who had completed the training and to a group who had not. Conducts 10 observations and interviews with Plunket nurses and Maori clients. Proposes a new system to replace the surgical tape used to hold the IV lines in place and advocates for patient experience inclusion in the redesign of the devices.

Determines the relationship between three aspects of organisational climate -- nursing relationships, charge-nurse manager leadership, and staff organisation -- and early-career nurses' perceptions of job satisfaction and burnout. Receives 91 responses to a mixed-method survey. Identifies significant themes that emerged from thematic analysis: supervisor support, emotional labour, workload and staffing relations.
